we are featuring surprise guests! and this year's slam team members will be participating in the slam. this is your chance to see em live and wish them good luck at brave new voices!
bring your fam, friends, teachers, kids, and ESPECIALLY your heater pieces and get ready to spit fire!

hey friends
we got a busy week ahead of us, with two opportunities to read/hear/experience poetry:
1) this thursday:
our monthly slam at electric tea garden (1402 east pike, next to the artificial limb company) on capitol hill! we're featuring one of the grand slam champs, KATIE MCCORKELL, and this month's theme is HONORING WOMEN. sign ups at 730, starts at 8pm!
hey party people
SO. two things:
1) i know everyone is wondering when we are going to post photos from our grand slam (taken by the amazing canh solo)...WE HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN. we are currently in the works of creating a photo gallery on our website! so please be patient! it will be up soon.
2) our annual slam series is over...but that doesn't mean the fun stops!
So here's the deal. I, Rose a.k.a rosetta.stone, fell off the face of the earth for a very very VERY long time. But now I am back and getting into the swing of things.
Only one more day until the Grand Slam Finals! Last year, we sold out
Town Hall (capacity: 800), so to make sure you get in, buy your tickets
NOW, right here!
